A significant number of boys also go on to St. Benedict's (which is very close by) and Latymer Upper.Taking over 410 pupils from age 4-13 it consistently achieves good results at Common Entrance.

The premises of the school are not large and most of the sports activities take place off-site. The current headmaster is due to leave at the beginning of the next academic year (August 2005).

Reception: £2,590.00 per term
Years 1 - 2: £3,200 per term
Years 3 - 8: £3,480 per term

The school received a very positive inspection report from the Independent Schools Inspectorate, who summarise the school's performance as follows:

" Durston House School is a good school with many very good features. These features include informed governance, strong leadership and clear direction by the headmaster and senior managers, very good personal guidance and pastoral care. Good and very good teaching, along with the friendly, secure, supportive and well disciplined ethos which permeates lessons, leads to high levels of attainment at the end of each phase of pupils' education. Pupils are prepared extremely well for the next stage of their education. A few areas, such as academic reports to parents and the analysis of assessment info rmation require improving."
