Lady Margaret Church of England School Lady Margaret's is a girls' C of E voluntary aided school with an excellent reputation for achieving high academic standards from a comprehensive intake. The school's admissions policy provides for 90 places each year of which approximately 25 places are offered to girls of above average ability, 49 places to girls of average ability and 16 of below average. The school offers a wide range of subjects and extra curricular activities it is particularly strong in music. How do you get in? The school holds its own assessment test in the November prior to the academic year of entry. 45 places are held for girls who are active members of the Church of England the remaining 45 places are "open places". Each girl will need a reference from the Head teacher of their primary school in addition a reference from the girl's vicar will be required applications submitted for foundation places.
