Southfield Primary School In a good location at the north end of the Bedford Park area, the school building is of the imposing Edwardian variety. Strong links with the community and parents have helped it to build up a good reputation. For several years its ranking in the league table of test results was disappointing but parents always argued this misrepresented the strength of the school. The school was inspected by OFSTED in 2004 and the report is generally favourable with the school rated as satisfactory. Involved in controversy when some children were excluded from the school due to the behaviour of their relatives but things appear to have settled down now. The school holds a fund raising car boot sale on the last Sunday of each month. How do you get in? Click here for roads in the catchment area.
