Non-Emergency reporting

Ealing Borough Police also operate the Telephone Reporting System to divert non-urgent crime reports away from station offices so as to improve reporting of crime.

This service can be contacted by using the Non-Emergency Telephone Number 020-8810-1212 to report crime.

An example of this would be if you get up in the morning and realised that your shed has been broken into. Phone the Non–Emergency Number; a Police Officer or a Forensic Officer may attend the scene to take a report or alternatively your information will be taken and passed to the Telephone Reporting Unit. This unit will phone you back at a convenient time and complete a full crime report. You will then be issued with a crime reference number for future reference.

Internet reporting of some minor crime

Certain categories of minor crime committed in England, Wales or Northern Ireland can now be reported over the Internet, as long as an urgent response is not required.

This service can generally be used for reporting:

  • Theft
  • Criminal Damage/Vandalism
  • Theft from a motor vehicle
  • Damage from a motor vehicle

Do not report Road Traffic Accidents or Collisions or lost property on this site.
