After woman is hit by car and bus near Hogarth roundabout
Police are appealing for information following a fatal road traffic collision at approx 20.00 on Friday 18th January on the A4 in the Chiswick area near the Hogarth roundabout. A female pedestrian was struck by two vehicles traveling westbound - a blue Renault Clio and a London bus - on the westbound carriageway and was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene. Next of kin have been informed and a post mortem has taken place. The deceased has been formally identified as 58 year old Miss Eileen Daley from Shepherds Bush. PC John Roberts from the Met's Collision Investigation Unit at Hampton, said, "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen this incident to contact us. This is a major road and the collision took place at what would have been a busy time so if you were around the location at 8pm, please contact us."
