British Transport Police are appealing for help tracing people who knew Alexander Zdravkovic, a Bosnian artist who died in August in Scotland. He is believed to have had strong connections with the Hammersmith area.

Mr Zdravkovic, who was 57, was travelling from Euston Station to Perth and became ill as he stepped off the train at 5.45 am. He was taken to Perth Royal Infirmary, but was found to have died.

British Transport Police say that despite extensive enquiries, officers have not been able to locate any relatives of Mr Zdravkovic.

Although he was living in Perth, he is believed to have friends and relatives living in Hammersmith.

Constable Mike Tunney, who is based at Perth BTP office says: " Our enquiries have so far so led us to believe that Mr Zdravkovic was an artist, although we have not been able to trace a next of kin.

" I am anxious to hear from anyone who knew him or has any knowledge of any of his relatives."

There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding Mr Zdravkovic’s death and a report has been submitted to the local Procurator Fiscal.
